We had a fantastic and well attended meeting on Sunday with over 70 people of all ages attending a series of sessions about using the land to grow food for the local community. Several people decided that a follow up meeting would be a good idea and this will take place in Bathampton Village Hall on Monday 6th September at 7.30pm. Our aim is to have a speaker from another local CSA project who will describe their experiences. This will be followed by a facilitated Q&A and an open space session to support people to find their common interests and form groups. Regular meetings will be planned thereafter. Please invite friends and anyone else you think may be interested in the project. There will also be fruit picking on site for the next few weeks on Thursdays and Sundays at 10am, with the aim of selling some of the produce locally at the Bathampton shop and at Bath Farmer's market to raise more awareness about the project. Contact Ian Wood ianwoodnamaste@me.com for further information on fruit picking. When visiting the site, if you are driving, please remember that there is car parking on site so please try not to park in the village.

Steering group members needed
What came out of the meeting is that there are lots of skilled people who are willing to offer time and/or skills and experience to this project. There are some people who have come already come forward to initiate the next steps and we would like to know of anyone who is interested in helping actively support the project. I have set up a doodle calendar which will give you all the options of when you can attend an initial steering meeting so please click on this link and pick the dates you are available. The date where the most are will be the day of the first group meeting http://www.doodle.com/nrka6hsvb4wxmz5s .
