Dry Arch Growers continue to develop

25 Oct 2011

dag-1.jpg Bath’s first Community Supported Agriculture scheme - Dry Arch Growers - continues to take major steps forward in its development with some important milestones being reached in September and October.

The scheme began its distribution of vegetable shares in September having appointed both a Distribution Manager and a Volunteer Manager to organise operations. By the end of October the scheme’s first poly-tunnel should be erected.

This follows hot on the heels of a successful harvest event attended by members and volunteers to lift potatoes and pick over 1 tonne of apples which, in collaboration with local community orchards, have been turned into a superb apple juice which will shortly go on sale.

Keep up on the latest news from Dry Arch Growers on their website.
