Our aim is to develop and implement an Energy Descent Plan for Bath to respond to the twin threats of Peak Oil and Climate Change. To do this we need to identify and encourage positive changes within Bath.
An essential part of this initiative will be working with policy makers, communities and interest groups, focusing on educating and enabling people (including us) to take action. Our projects:
Meter Project: helps individual households to reduce their electricity consumption by monitoring their electricity use.
Hydro Project: showcases local alternative energy and makes a modest contribution to self-sufficiency
We meet monthly to review our progress and we are always looking for new initiatives. If you would like to get involved, contact Andrew Wyon (andrew@wyon.net or 01225 317945)
