One Step Closer for Transition Bath

24 Sep 2009

Earlier this month, Bath & North East Somerset Council voted unanimously in favour of a motion supporting the growing Transition Towns movement in Bath & North East Somerset.

The Council acknowledged and endorsed work done by us and other independent communities in the area, supporting our commitment to create more sustainable and resilient communities with a reduced dependence on carbon-based fuels.

The Council promised to consider how it could provide practical support and assistance to communities that wish to join our initiative so that they may help us to achieve our goals.

To read details of the motion, go to the Bath & NE Somerset website here.
